Move Forward, Pheu Thai emerge as 2 largest parties with 292 MPs

THE MOVE FORWARD AND THE PHEU THAI have emerged as the two largest parties with 151 and 141 MPs respectively, followed by the Bhumjaithai as a third with 71 MPs in yesterday’s (May 14) general election, according to unofficial results reported today by the Election Commission.

Of a total of 400 constituency-based MPs and 100 party-listed MPs,

-151 Move Forward MPs include 112 constituency-based MPs and 39 party-listed MPs.

-141 Pheu Thai MPs include 112 constituency-based MPs and 29 party-listed MPs.

-71 Bhumjaithai MPs include 68 constituency-based MPs and three party-listed MPs.

-40 Palang Pracharath MPs including 39 constituency-based MPs and one party-listed MP.

-36 Ruam Thai Sang Chart MPs including 23 constituency-based MPs and 13 party-listed MPs.

-25 Democrat MPs including 22 constituency-based MPs and three party-listed MPs.

-10 Chart Thai Pattana MPs including nine constituency-based MPs and one party-listed MP.

-9 Prachachart MPs including 7 constituency-based MPs and two party-listed MPs.

-5 Thai Sang Chart MPs, all being constituency-based MPs.

-2 Chart Pattana Kla MPs, one constituency-based MP and one party-listed MP.

-2 Pheu Thai Ruam Palang MPs, both being constituency-based MPs.

-8 party-listed MPs of eight camps each, namely the Thai Liberal, the Thai Sang Thai, the New Democracy, the New Party, the Local Thais, the Justice, New Social Power and the Thai Teachers For the People.
