A FIRE broke out at the German embassy in Sathorn Soi 1 this evening (August 8) with Thungmahamek firemen quickly rushing there to put it out, Naewna newspaper said.
The Fire Department hotline 199 had received a phone call at 7.35 p.m. that a fire had erupted at a house in this soi and it was only after reaching the scene at 7.47 p.m. that they discovered it was the German embassy.
The fire was raging on the upper floor of the two-storey building.
