THE Thai spicy chilli sauce shop at the centre of a drama with political undertones that erupted yesterday (Sept. 21) after the owner evicted a red-shirt TV programme host despite an appointment for a shoot a month in advance is now raking it in having sold out most of her products overnight, TV Channel 7 said this afternoon (Sept. 22).
Ms Kham Phaka, a Voice TV programme host, writer and social critic, had gone to Nittaya Chili Sauce shop in Bang Lamphu area for a review as per her appointment.
However when she and the TV crew showed up, the owner, Mrs. Nittaya Laksanawisit, 79, told her she had never watched her programme and would like to do so first after which she could come back for an interview while also apologising to her for the inconvenience.
This led to Kham Phaka later stating that filming was not allowed because red-shirt followers are not welcome there.

However today the shop indicated on its Facebook page that most of its products are now flying off the shelves with this delaying online deliveries.
““I apologize to those customers I have not replied to, the shop will gradually reply to all of you. Many products have sold out so online deliveries will be a little late,”
Many of the shop’s customers posted comments regretting that they could not help support and encourage the shop after this drama erupted.
