GETTING ready to reopen its branches on May 1 after being ordered temporarily closed as the country’s fought the coronavirus pandemic is Central Department Store which has sent a letter to its business partners to also start preparing, PostToday reported today (19.4.2020).
In this letter Central said all its branches will be opening and closing at their usual time.
The letter importantly stressed that the partners make sure their sales workers are in good health in accordance to the requirements stated within an attached code of conduct guidelines and send them to report themselves on April 28.
Central also thanked its partners and said it hoped for their usual cooperation in this matter.
Bangkok Post reported earlier that the government will next week decide whether to relax disease control measures, including the possible reopening of some shops and banks.
Dr Taweesilp Visanuyothin, spokesman for the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said on Friday that discussions were being held with relevant experts and business representatives.
The aim was to ensure effective disease control if some business premises were allowed to reopen.
Premises which may be allowed to reopen included mobile phone and electrical appliance shops, banks, barbers and hairdressers, and general stores.
