A SHOCKING incident occurred at a book fair when a fan suddenly approached Pita Limjaroenrat, former leader of the Move Forward Party, and pinched his stomach then being immediately told, “You can’t do that,” Naewna newspaper said this evening (Oct. 26).
The aggressive fan closed in on Pita and upon pinching his stomach, asking, “Is there only ‘Goy’ in your heart?” Pita promptly told her not to do that.
She was referring to his girlfriend actress Aratchaporn Phokinphakorn, aka Goy.
This incident was revealed by a Facebook user named Koy Pimpicha, who captured the untoward incident on video. She explained that she hadn’t noticed the incident while filming, but upon reviewing and zooming in on the footage, she was shocked to see that Pita, whose nickname is Tim, had indeed been pinched.
She revealed that she initially tried to protect the woman’s identity by cropping the video to show only her eyes, out of consideration and uncertainty as to whether the act was meant as a joke or had some other intent. However, the woman later revealed her own identity and admitted on her own channel that she was the one carrying this out, claiming it was done in a playful manner.
Koy had also muted the audio at the moment Pita issued the warning. There is concern that the situation might lead to misunderstanding or unnecessary drama among those who witness it without knowing the actual circumstances. It was also noted that the incident has shocked Pita’s fan base and the wider community of supporters who are now deeply concerned for his safety.
