A FORMER member of the court-dissolved Move Forward was today (Oct.26) arrested on charge of forging a bank transaction supposedly worth seven million baht in tea money to defame Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, the police said.
The former male member of the Move Forward, dissolved by court and literally turned into the People’s, the largest opposition camp today, was only identified as Chairat, a native of Nakhon Sawan, with his surname yet undisclosed for the time being.
The suspect had evidently forged the KasikornBank slip on his Facebook page entitled Godd Dam showcasing the seven million baht sum allegedly worth of the unelaborated kickback falsely transferred from an unknown person to Anutin at a time when he was interior minister in 2023, the police said.
KasikornBank today (Oct.26) issued a statement to categorically deny the forged transaction online, saying none of its bank customers could have literally transferred more than two million baht at a time.
Chairat had allegedly forged the seven million baht bank slip online falsely showcasing the tea money being transferred on December 31, 2023 to Anutin whilst censure debate and no-confidence votes against the prime minister and 17 other Bhumjaithai members of cabinet were anticipated early next month.
