SOON after a concrete awning at a row of four shophouses collapsed over the weekend this morning (June 23) another one crashed down on Dinso road in Bangkok’s old town zone but fortunately there were no injuries, Amarin TV said this afternoon.
The Facebook page of FM91 Trafficpro said their radio station had received a report from the Phukhao Thong Fire and Rescue Station at 9.13 a.m. that a concrete awning on the third floor of a shophouse had collapsed.
The shophouse is near the branch of a famous restaurant on Dinso road, Wat Bowon Niwet subdistrict, Phra Nakhon district.
When the rescue team arrived at the scene they found out that there were no injuries and there were no residents in this shophouse. They cordoned off the area and alerted the district office to take further action.
