THE Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration today (Jan. 21) announced that the daily coronavirus total has again risen over a hundred reaching 142 compared to just 59 cases yesterday but domestic infections only added up to 88, Amarin TV reported
This takes the cumulative total to 12,795 cases with 9,842 having been cured and as there was no additional death, the toll stands at 71.
Of today’s 142 cases, 17 came from overseas and all have entered state quarantine with three each arriving from US, Malaysia Turkey and India, two from Myanmar and one each from Switzerland, Sweden and Japan.
The 125 cases that cropped up within the country emerged from two groups with 88 found through domestic surveillance and service systems and 37 through proactive checks in communities.
