ALL oil prices except for Premium Gasohol 95 are rising at 5 a.m. tomorrow (April 2) after the Oil Fuel Fund reduced the subsidy rate, Naewna newspaper said late tonight.
This price increase is divided into two main groups as follows:
1/ Benzene and gasohol group: Increased by 1.20 baht/litre
This covers Benzene 95, Gasohol 95, Gasohol 91, E20, and E85 that will all go up by 1.20 baht per litre. However, the price of Premium Gasohol 95 remains unchanged.
2/ Diesel group: Increased by 3.50 baht/litre.
A meeting of the Oil Fuel Fund committee resolved to reduce diesel fuel subsidy rate by 4.11 baht/litre to 17.78 baht/litre, resulting in a 3.50 baht/litre increase in the retail price at petrol pumps to 44.24 baht/litre.
The biodiesel B20 subsidy rate was also reduced by 3.99 baht/litre to 20.12 baht/litre, resulting in a 3.50 baht/litre increase in the retail price at petrol pumps to 39.24 baht/litre.
