Drunk passenger in hot water after urinating at Phuket airport hallway

A HEAVILY drunk Saudi Arabian man who urinated at a Phuket airport hallway after an airline refused to let board the airplane for safety of other passengers was quickly charged but was too intoxicated to understand what was going on, Amarin TV said this evening (Jan. 31).

The ruckus over the badly drunk Saudi Arabian man, identified by this airport as Mr. Almalka Imajet, took place yesterday (Jan. 30) and was shared on social media.

He was booked to fly on IndigoAir flight 6E1072 from Phuket to Mumbai but was denied boarding after being found to be so intoxicated he could not control himself.

Phuket Airport officials immediately moved in to detain him and take him out of the waiting area. However, as this was taking place the passenger walked to urinate against the glass wall of the arrivals hall of the international passenger terminal.

As this is an inappropriate action that likely inconvenienced other passengers, security officials took him to this airport’s security centre to rest and recover from his intoxication.

They informed him of the charges being filed against him but he was still very drunk and unable to communicate. Officials from the Tourist Assistance Centre and the Tourist Police were then called in to take further action.

The airport explained that it has implemented relevant regulations because such behavior embarrasses and annoys other people.
