ACTIVISTS placed photos of suspects detained in cases stemming from Section 112 of the Criminal Code, or the lese majeste law, next to the footbridge at Phaya Thai traffic island in the Victory Monument area this evening (May 8th), Matichon newspaper said.
A vinyl banner with the message “We don’t want Prayut” was also tied at this footbridge’s handrail.
Similar photos appeared at the “Flowers, flowers will bloom again, pure and brave, bloom in the heart” event at Pathumwan intersection’s skywalk yesterday.
The activists urged that their friends detained on Section 112 charges among whom are youths and women and Mr. Sombat Thongyoi be allowed to be bailed out and Section 112 be abolished.
