TWO RENOWNED POLITICAL activists have become heads of Thai Liberal Party’s strategic teams.
In today’s (Apr 23) general caucus of Thai Liberal Party, former election commissioner Somchai Srisutthiyakorn was named head of the party’s strategic campaign for policy matters and People’s Network Against Corruption secretary-general Veera Somkwamkid was named head of the party’s strategic campaign against corruption.
Both Somchai and Veera who remain invariably critical of the Prayut Chan-o-cha regime are largely speculated to contest the next general election as party-listed candidates.
Thai Liberal Party under leadership of former police chief Seripisut Temiyavej currently performs in the opposition bloc alongside Pheu Thai Party and Move Forward Party, among others.
