Juti slammed for ignoring sex scandals allegedly surrounding Democrats

By Thai Newsroom Reporters

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT & HUMAN Security Minister Juti Krairirk has been taken to task for keeping a blind eye and deaf ear to personal misconducts ranging from sexual harassments to adulteries and affairs allegedly perpetrated by any members of Democrat Party including the one who has recently resigned in the face of such scandals.

Ex-Democrat Party member-turned-street activist Thanat Thanakitamnuay posted on his Facebook page today (Apr. 19) calling on Juti who was once secretary-general of Democrat Party to help combat the scandalous sexual harassments and affairs surrounding certain members of the country’s oldest party following those allegedly involving Prinn Panitchpakdi, son of former World Trade Organisation director-general Supachai Panitchpakdi.

According to the renegade activist, the social development & human security minister is largely viewed as a close associate of Prinn’s. Supachai’s son has resigned as deputy leader of Democrat Party amidst sexual harassment and rape charges filed by several alleged victims against him.

Thanat whose spouse, namely Hathairat Wittayapoom, has claimed herself as one of Prinn’s sexual harassment victims commented that Juti has so far done nothing to help fight the alleged sex-related misconducts among the rank and file of his own party.

Thanat has accused Juti of having talked Deputy Prime Minister/Democrat Party leader Jurin Laksanavisit into denying former deputy Democrat Party leader Korn Chatikavanij a cabinet seat and promoting Prinn as head of the party’s modern-day economics team instead.

The disappointed Korn finally left Jurin’s party and set up one  of his own, namely the Kla Party.

According to Mallika Mahasook, a member of Democrat Party’s executive board, several other partisan members including an unidentified Democrat MP are known to have also perpetrated adulteries and sexual affairs in hush-hush fashion.
