AFTER the body of actress Pataratida Patcharawirapong, or Tangmo Nida, was found at 1.10 p.m. today (Feb. 26) upon her falling into the Chao Phraya river at around 11 p.m. Thursday night police said they have called her five friends for another round of interrogation and charges will be filed against them as well as the speedboat’s skipper, Thai Rath newspaper said.
Her body floated to the surface close to the point she had plunged into the river near Rama 7 bridge and Pibulsongkram pier. She was wearing the same dress she had on before drowning with her body being sent to the Police Hospital Forensic Department for autopsy.
The head of Nonthaburi police said her five friends who were with her when she fell off the speedboat have been called in again for another round of interrogation and to state the charges they face. If they do not show up, investigators will consider issuing summons.
The speedboat’s skipper is also being charged with negligence leading to death of another person as well as other charges according to the evidence.
Questions were raised on social media after netizens noticed that some images of Tangmo had gone missing from her personal Instagram account @melonp.official, Sanook.com said.
They said before her drowning there were 2,306 posts in this account but only 2,300 were left as of 12.25 p.m. today.
They wanted to know where Tangmo’s mobile phone is, who all have the password, which photos are missing while also mentioning that some photo captions had been edited.
It was later found out that one of the six missing photos is that of a cat.
