Husband admits killing wife, burning her body

 

A THAI man was in tears upon being taken for crime reenactment this morning (Feb. 21) after confessing to killing his wife and burning her body while driving home after his birthday party on Feb. 18, Amarin TV, TV Channel 7 and Naewna newspaper said.

After  Ms. Chollada Muthurong, or Nong Noon, 27, mysteriously disappeared police found the remains of her body in Prachinburi province as burnt by her husband, Mr. Sirichai Rakthong, or Toy, 33.

During hours long interrogation last night he confessed to beating her with a brick while driving home on Chaeng Wattana road after a quarrel broke out about his ex-girlfriend and while he intended to hit her arm, the blow landed at the back of her neck and he continued hitting her there. Upon reaching home he found that she was still alive then hit her again on the head with something heavy, killing her.

Today he further confessed while being taken for crime reenactment that while driving from his house in Pak Kret district of Nonthaburi to Prachinburi he was drinking beer throughout. Once there he played a cartoon movie for their child to watch as he took her body out of the vehicle to burn it with 1,400 baht worth of petrol he had bought at a pump.
