Prinn bailed out in new sexual misconduct case filed in Petchaburi

FORMER DEMOCRAT Party deputy leader Prinn Panichphakdi who has been hit with a string of sexual misconduct and indecent assault accusations was granted temporary release by  Petchaburi provincial court in yet another case today (Apr. 26), Matichon newspaper said.

The court granted 200,000 baht bail after Prinn reported to Mueang Phetchaburi police station before a summons was issued and denied these new charges.

Police asked the court to temporarily detain him but did not object to granting bail which was then approved.

He had arrived at the police station on a BMW sedan accompanied by two lawyers.

In the latest case Prinn was accused by an unnamed young woman, who was formerly a member of a political party team, of indecent assault during a party held at this province in 2020. She had filed a complaint against him on April 16, 2022.

At noon when Prinn and his lawyers left the office of Pol. Col. Wanchai Khaoram, chief of Mueang Phetchaburi police station, he ran into reporters waiting to interview him and again denied all the allegations made against him, adding that he was ready to go through the judicial process according to the law.
