A CARGO SHIP’S fuel oil tank exploded in the middle of Chao Phraya river near Phra Chulachomklao Fort at 1.40 p.m. today (Mar. 27), Sanook.com said.
Samut Prakan province’s Office of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported the explosion at 2.30 p.m. and said that fire boats had sailed in to control the blaze.
The firemen are in the process of extinguishing the blaze and initially it was found that one person got injured after he jumped into the river.
