ONE person died when a two-storey building near Wat Traimit Witthayaram Worawihan on Charoen Krung road, Talat Noi subdistrict, Samphanthawong district, collapsed at around 4.52 p.m. this afternoon (June 20), Amarin TV and PPTVHD36 said.
Debris from the collapsed building fell on the road and damaged several vehicles.
When Suan Mali fire and rescue station team arrived at the scene they found that a slab of concrete from the second floor of this buidling had tumbled down and trapped a male victim.
Officials and volunteers removed the debris from his body and then gave him CPR but he later died.
