AFTER People’s Party only secured one seat in Saturday’s elections for head of provincial administration, also known in Thai as Nayok Or Bor Jor, in 47 provinces, Mr. Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, former leader of the Future Forward Party and assistant campaigner, said the experience he gained over the past two months will help him build a better party, Naewna newspaper said this morning (Feb. 3).
In a Facebook post, Thanathorn thanked those who had voted for People’s Party in every province and congratulated all the winners.
He is also very excited about working with Mr Wiradech Phuphisit, Lamphun’s new provincial administration head, and 132 People’s councillors who won in 33 provinces.
“There are many more opportunities to develop and create for the people. The two months of campaigning for the PAO elections this time has given me many good memories and experience. I will learn from them to build a team and a better party than before,” he said.
“As for those who did not vote for us, it means that we are not good enough. We will try to do better so that you can trust us in the next election.
“Thanks to all those who support and walk with us. Let’s continue to learn and grow together.”
