MP takes action on air-conditioning issue at Phuket Airport

A MOVE FORWARD MP for Phuket informed Transport Ministry officials that the international section of Phuket Airport has been quite hot for several days now with the locals speculating that the air-conditioning system might have faltered sending the temperature higher in that part of the airport, Sanook.com said.

Many local news outlets have reported on passengers having to cope with the persisting heat within Phuket Airport’s international departure and arrival lounges.

This led to Mr. Thitikan Thitipruethikul, Move Forward’s MP for Phuket, alerting the Transport Ministry officials to take action.

It was only after this issue was discussed online that Phuket Airport issued a statement saying they were speeding up repairs and hope to get the air-conditioning system running at full capacity by tonight.
