AN unidentified group of protesters put up cloth banners at the Public Health Ministry yesterday with one of the messages being, “Control the infection well just as you have the mobs – bigger problem than Covid is Prayut,” Sanook.com and Matichon Weekly reported today (Dec. 27).
Another message said, “My guard has dropped, Covid has come back again but Prayut is still here?”
Photos of the banners were shared on the Facebook page of the Network of Nonthaburi New Generation with a message saying that mysterious banners appeared at the Public Health Ministry and as a member saw them he is posting photos for others to have a look.
The message added that these cloth banners were hung up at Democracy Monument on December 24.
While inquiries were made, it was not clear which group put up the banners which were later removed by security guards.
Meanwhile Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul posted a poem on his Facebook page giving encouragement and offering New Year wishes to civil servants and doctors on duty during the current situation.
