A 51-year-old woman who flew from Chiang Rai to Bangkok on the same flight as two young women who had sneaked across the border from Tachileik in Myanmar and later tested positive for Covid-19 has now also been found to be infected with this deadly virus, Thai Rath newspaper and Sanook.com reported today (Dec. 4).
The timeline of the movements of this woman who is a resident of Sing Buri province is as follows:
Nov. 25:
– 5 p.m.: Arrived at Chiang Rai province and went to Leng Heng Nai factory in Wiang Pa Pao district and later checked into a hotel;
Nov. 26:
– Met a team from this factory and toured it;
– 4 p.m.: Went to Singh Park to attend the farm fair;
– 8 p.m.: Returned to the hotel;
Nov. 27:
– 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Worked at Leng Heng Nai factory;
– 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.: Prayed at Buddha image near the factory;
– Arrived back at the hotel;
Nov. 28:
– Noon: Travelled to Chiang Rai airport by factory van and boarded NokAir flight number DD 8717;
– 3:15 p.m.: Arrived at Don Mueang Airport. A factory van came to pick her up and took her to a factory at Sawa district, Ang Thong province (on the way, stopped for a meal at Big Noodle shop);
Nov. 29:
– 2 p.m.: Went to buy food at Tha Kham market (stayed there till 4 p.m.);
Nov. 30:
– 10 a.m.: Went by van to get vaccinated for influenza at In Buri Hospital;
Dec. 1-2:
– Stayed at home. On Dec. 2 started feeling sick, getting body aches, but thought this was a side effect of the flu shot;
Dec. 3:
– 10 a.m.: Found out the timeline of the other infected passengers on this flight and went to get examined at Bang Rachan Hospital;
-8 p.m.: Infection confirmed.
