A FIRE quickly spread through a warehouse in Nonthaburi storing supercars and Tesla vehicles this morning (Nov. 28) causing 200 million baht damage with a fire truck too engulfed in flames as firefighters fought the blaze, Amarin TV said.
At 8.30 a.m. Pol. Lt. Col. Phon Phueanphrom, deputy superintendent for investigation at Chaiyaphruek police station, was alerted of a fire racing through this warehouse storing luxury sports cars at Om Kret subdistrict, Pak Kret district, and quickly alerted fire stations in this area and nearby zones to send teams to extinguish it.
At the scene, ACM Ekkarat Sasanasunthonchai informed officers that he had reviewed a CCTV footage which showed that at approximately 7.50 a.m. a white light flashed out once after which the fire started. He then called Om Kret Subdistrict Administrative Organisation (SAO) to put it out.
While firemen were battling this big fire some of them fled after the intense flames spread to a fire truck and gutted it.
Initial survey shows that approximately five supercars, valued at 100 million baht, and around 45 Tesla vehicles, valued at approximately 90 million baht, totaling around 190 million baht, were gutted aside from damage to the warehouse building.
