A NONTHABURI lawyer is suing a well-known Phuket lawyer after a woman complained that he had demanded sex in exchange for dropping defamation charges against her, TV Channel 7 said this morning (May 21).
Lawyer Nattachapong Boonkerd, 44, aka Lawyer Kop, said the unidentified 51-year-old woman asked for help after the Phuket lawyer demanded that she have sex with him in exchange for not suing her for 300,000 baht over a critical comment she had posted on Facebook about his appearance on a TV show.
It was around the middle of last month that she had posted this comment about the Phuket lawyer, “If anyone becomes his wife, her fate is ruined”, because she could not accept his behavior during the talk show.
After that, aside from asking her to have sex with him in exchange for not filing a defamation lawsuit for 300,000 baht the Phuket lawyer also boasted that he knows a gunman who is willing to kill anyone as assigned.
Lawyer Kob said he is going to file four charges against the Phuket lawyer with these being extortion, violating the Computer Crimes Act, defamation by advertising and breach of professional etiquette.
In addition to a copy of their chat, this woman also submitted a video of her meeting the Phuket lawyer in Ranong province during which he called the police then filmed her getting into the police car.
After that he shared this clip online with a message, “End of the legend of the number 1 avatar,” leading to the public misunderstanding that she had been arrested whereas the police had in fact taken both of them to the station for questioning.
