Air base at Myanmar capital attacked again: Report

 

MYANMAR’S anti-coup fighters claimed that they had again attacked the an air base in the country’s capital Naypyidaw this morning (Apr. 11) with five missiles hitting the complex and damaging an aircraft hangar and several planes leading to some air force personnel and soldiers being killed, Naewna said.

Yangon Modern News Agency said the attack at Naypyidaw Aela air base also damaged the Tingyan pavilion which is under construction to receive junta leader Min Aung Hlaing and other military leaders.

This is the fourth time Naypyidaw Aela air base has been attacked with People’s Defence Force (PDF) together with Shar Htoo Wor special unit having recently also hit another air force base with kamikaze drones.

The anti-coup fighters said that this fourth attack on Naypyidaw air base shows that they could hit even the safest and most advanced air base  and that they will continue attacking other military targets.
