Thai, Chinese gangs in scary road chase

TWO GANGS, one Thai and the other Chinese, tried to smash each other’s vehicles on Chonburi roads last night (Mar. 26) after a big row broke out over a Thai woman, Amarin TV and TV Channel 7 said this afternoon.

Eyewitnesses at the scene said the road rage chase stemmed from jealousy over a Thai woman who had rented a room at a club to celebrate her birthday with her Thai boyfriend.

A little later a group of Chinese men barged in and one of them started flirting with the birthday girl triggering a fierce argument that led to the club shutting down.

However after that instead of the two gangs going their separate ways, they got into their vehicles and started chasing and hitting each other’s vehicles like a live game of dodgems.

One man got injured after a black van hit his yellow van just as he was opening the door to get out with people in the area moving in to protect him because he could have been hit again.

Pattaya police soon arrived to stop this wild road fight and rounded up all the suspects for questioning at the station.
