A VIDEO clip showing a snake slithering on an airplane flying from Bangkok to Phuket has gone viral with over a million views so far and questions being asked about how the critter got there in the first place, Matichon newspaper said today (Jan. 16).
Chaos erupted on this flight on Saturday Jan. 13 with the video clip showing a flight attendant capturing the snake being uploaded on TikTok by @wannabnailssalon.
She said upon flying back to Phuket after completing her studies in Bangkok the snake was spotted on the plane after the captain had announced that they were about to land and not leave their seat.
She continued napping but woke up fully when the person seated next to her became agitated and told her that there is a snake right above them.
She was stunned and did not know what to do, stay put in her seat or dash to safety.
The flight attendant then tried to capture the snake by first trying to get the critter to crawl into a plastic bottle. When that failed he used the bottle to push it into a plastic bag.
After her post and video clip went viral a lot of people posted comments questioning how the snake got into the airplane in the first place.
Some thought it was a pet snake that one of the passengers had smuggled into the aircraft because it is not venomous but this raised another question of how it passed through the luggage scanner.
Others said this snake is highly venomous and could have got into a passenger’s handbag while walking through a forest without the person realising it was there.
