IN attending the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2024 at Davos, Switzerland, taking place during Jan. 15-19, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin is holding talks with several key business leaders with as many as 14 meetings scheduled for today (Jan. 17), Thai Rath newspaper said.
The Prime Minister’s schedule today is as follows:
1) Attend the Country Strategy Dialogue (CSD) on Thailand;
2) Hold talks with Mr. Bernard Mensah, president, international, Bank of America, and CEO of Merrill Lynch International;
3) Hold talks with Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, group chairman and CEO of DP World Company;
4) Attend the Thailand Landbridge: Connecting Asean with the World activity;
5) Hold talks with Bill Winters, CEO of Standard Chartered;
6) A meeting with Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of WEF;
7) Attend Learning from Asean discussion;
8) Hold talks with Viola Amherd, president of the Swiss Confederation;
9) A discussion with Tony Blair, former UK prime minister and executive chairman of Tony Blair Institute of Global Change;
10) A discussion with Telenor company executives;
11) Hold talks with James Quincey, chairman and CEO of Coca Cola;
12) Meet a group of leading Thai businessmen who are WEF members;
13) Meet Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella;
14) Meet Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo.
