MOVE FORWARD advisory chairman Pita Limjaroenrat is flying to New York City to attend the third annual TIME100 Next event that celebrates individuals spotlighted in the 2023 list with him being one of them, Naewna newspaper said.
Hosted by Time magazine CEO Jessica Sibley and Editor-in-Chief Sam Jacobs the gala dinner on Tuesday Oct. 24 will feature a special musical performance by singer-songwriter Kelsea Ballerini, honorary tributes from members of this year’s list and much more.
During his Oct. 24-31 visit to the US Pita is also scheduled to go to Wat Buddha Thai Thaworn Wanaram temple in New York City the next day (Wednesday Oct. 25) to pray and meet Thai people there from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
On Thursday Oct. 26 at 2 p.m. he will be giving a lecture in English at Harvard University on the topic, “Moving Forward: Thailand, Asean & Beyond.”
On Saturday, Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. till noon he will be giving a talk entitled “Fireside Chat with Pita Limjaroenrat” as an MIT alumnus with a focus on conversing in Thai with Thai students and other Thais living in Boston and nearby areas. In addition, Pita is also scheduled to meet and talk with academics, writers, private organisations, entrepreneurs and other Thais living and working in the US.
