Thanat hits back at MP who doubts he was blinded in one eye at protest

AFTER Palang Pracharath Party MP for Bangkok Mr. Sira Jenjaka came out to question whether Mr. Thanat Thanakitamnuay, or Hiso Luknut, really lost his vision in the right eye after being hit with an object at a Din Daeng intersection protest earlier this month the latter adamantly confirmed he is blind in that eye, Siam Rath newspaper this afternoon (Aug. 23).

Sira asked Thanat to produce a medical certificate confirming he has lost sight in his right eye and if it is true he would give him one million baht.

He pointed out that there is a video clip showing foreign objects floating down from that eye and did not hit it.

However a little later Thanat posted a message telling Sira to get the one million baht ready and that he is willing to get the blinded eye checked by any hospital he trusts.

Thanat added he will distribute the 1 million baht to the homeless at 1,000 baht each and that if he really has not lost his vision in that eye he will donate 10 million baht,
