MOVIE buffs will be pleased to hear that Major Cineplex Group is offering annual discount passes at 300 baht a month for adults with students having to only pay 200 baht a month, PostToday reported this morning (June 3, 2020).
Mr Narute Jiensnong, chief marketing officer of Major Cineplex Group Plc, said as Covid-19 pandemic has come under control in this country with the government also having introduced phase 5 easing of the lockdown, many businesses, including cinema operators, are again launching marketing activities to stimulate consumer spending in the new normal era.
However every business is well aware of the need to ensure the safety of the people and maintaining good hygiene standards, he added.
Major Cineplex’s latest campaign is the promotion of the sale of M Pass to its customers with this allowing them to watch all movies at ordinary seats (but no repeats), on every round, in every theater across the country, and every system both normal and special ones like IMAX and 4DX
This offer to obtain the annual pass is open during July 1-31, 2020 and there is no extra charge for paying with credit or debit cards.
“This promotional campaign initially targets students, workers and the Generation Z by offering another entertainment option in the new normal era,” Narute said.
Regular annual M Pass for those over 23 years of age costs 300 baht a month (with an option of paying extra for special seats and systems).
Student annual M Pass costs 200 baht a month with the same options included.
