This is to conduct safety inspection of the airports.

People in buildings were told to evacuate to the open air for their safety amid fears of possible aftershocks from this strong quake with a depth of 10 kilometres.

There were 50 workers in the building being built in the Chatuchak area with  only seven workers able to escape while the other 43 were trapped within.
