A SOCIAL media influencer and rapper who shot to fame for selling garlands to feed his grandmother died early this morning (Dec. 26) after gulping down half a bottle of alcohol in exchange for 30,000 baht, Amarin TV said.
Many social media pages dug up information about the influencer, Bank Lester, and found out he was often bullied and had turned into a plaything of the rich.
A clip surfaced showing man squeezing lubricant gel into Bank Lester’s mouth after which he said this man is his new boss and then another man squeezed more gel into his mouth with everyone out there laughing loudly.
There are several other clips of him being bullied.
Amarin TV’s news team contacted Dr. Apirak Phisuthaphon, the public health doctor of Chanthaburi province, about Bank Lester’s death and was told that his heart had already stopped beating when his friends brought him to Song Phi Nong Hospital.
The medical team gave him cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), hoping to stimulate his body to respond again, but it was unsuccessful.
His body had been sent to Phra Pok Klao Hospital for a detailed autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
However it was already known that when he attended parties he was often told by his friends to eat strange food or drink a lot of alcohol in one go and this time he swallowed half a bottle for 30,000 baht, Dr. Apirak said.
