Couple’s bodies found in container shipped from Philippines

MYSTERIOUS decomposing dead bodies of a man and a woman were found in a shipping container at a depot in the Lat Krabang area early this morning (Oct. 2) with this batch of containers having been sent to Thailand from the Philippines, Sanook.com said.

Preliminary inspection shows that these containers were all empty with there being no products in them.

They were shipped from the Philippines on Sep. 24, 2023 and arrived at Laem Chabang port on Sep. 28, 2023.

At 5 a.m. this morning these containers reached this depot and the staff opened one that was emitting a strong smell. Within they found the bodies of this couple with no documents on them huddled by the door.

From the condition of the dead bodies it appears they should have been dead for over a week.

Forensic science police are now collecting the evidence while a Police Hospital forensic doctor will be performing an autopsy.

Companies that sent and received these containers are being tracked for questioning.
