HER Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati’s overall condition is now stable at one level as she continues treatment for a heart problem, the Royal Household said this morning (Dec. 19) according to a Thai Rath newspaper report.
HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha, 44, was taken ill after losing consciousness on Wednesday in northeastern Nakhon Ratchasima province while training her pet dogs for a contest. She was initially treated at a local hospital then flown by helicopter to Bangkok for treatment at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital.
This hospital’s Faculty of Medicine said HRH Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s heartbeat could be controlled by medicine. Tests showed that her heart is not functioning fully but a coronary angiography did not show any abnormalities.
Doctors are continuing to give her medicine and employ medical equipment to help her heart while closely monitoring her condition.
