THAI Airways International (THAI)  started flying to Bali again from May 1 and with the good feedback it has received will be flying to the Indonesian holiday island everyday from June 18 onwards, Matichon newspaper said today (May 4).

Passengers flying by THAI to Bali are both those departing from Bangkok and  those flying in from European and other Asian countries to catch a connecting flight there.

THAI’s round-trip flights to Bali during May 1- June 17 are available on Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. However, daily flights will be launched on June 18.

The flights are as follows:

-Flight TG 431 on the Bangkok – Denpasar route departs Bangkok at 9.35 a.m. and arrives in Denpasar at 2.55 p.m. (local time);

– Flight TG 432 on the Denpasar – Bangkok route departs at 4.55 p.m. (local time) and arrives in Bangkok at 8.05 p.m.

The Indonesian government waived the mandatory quarantine for fully vaccinated international visitors to Bali on March 7, 2022, according to Jakarta Post.

Tourism and Creative Economy Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno expressed hope that the new policy would help revive Bali’s tourism and create new economic opportunities for locals.

“It’s official, as instructed by President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo, Bali is launching a quarantine-free travel trial for international travellers who have been fully vaccinated or have received booster shots, starting on March 7,” Sandiaga wrote on Instagram. “We’re optimistic that [the new policy] will bring more job and business opportunities for residents.”
