WITH the New Year just round the corner Thai Airways International has introduced a special flight to welcome 2021 under the slogan, “fly to receive blessings for the New Year, happy all year round,” Amarin TV reported today (Nov. 27, 2020).
This special New Year’s Day flight, TG899, takes passengers on a northern route with the plane departing Suvarnabhumi Airport at 11.30 a.m. and returning to the same airport at 2.30 p.m.
During the circular flight there will be prayers to receive positive energy on the first day of the New Year together with Katha Chinnabanchon, an expert in history, religion and culture.
A delicious lunch will be served on the flight with there also being various other activities such as choral singing, shows and background music.
Economy class fare starts at 6,999 baht while business class at 12,999 baht.
Passengers will receive special gifts including a dining voucher at the Royal Orchid Dining Experience restaurant at the Thai Airways head office, valued at 500 baht for economy class and 1,000 baht for business class. They will also be given a Buddha amulet and prayer books.
