THE Second Army Region said a 40mm grenade fired by Cambodians landed near an operational base in Sisaket province at 10.18 a.m. this morning (Feb. 5) but fortunately all troops stationed there are safe, TV Channel 7 said.
The grenade which hit in the Phlaen Hin Paet Kon area, specifically the right flank of the operational base in Kantharalak district, also did not damage any equipment.
Relevant units have increased security measures and are closely monitoring the situation in the area.
