FOUR foreign youths got injured after the motorcycles they were racing up and down a Pattaya road collided into each other at 3.30 a.m. this morning (Aug. 30), TV Channel 7 said.
The accident occurred in front of Makro wholesale store in South Pattaya with rescuers and a medical team immediately sent to the scene to help the victims.
Of the four Kuwaiti youths who got injured, two are in serious condition with severe head and body injuries while the other two are not badly hurt. They were all taken to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.
Eyewitnesses said prior to the accident a group of Kuwaiti youths were racing their motorbikes at high speed down the road but suddenly these two rear-ended each other leading to the four riders getting injured.
Police took photographs and collected other evidence at the scene for legal action.
