A BIG FIRE is spreading through a tissue paper factory at Hemaraj Industrial Estate in Nong Kae district, Saraburi province, today (June 30) with several people trapped in the buildings, Amarin TV said.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire while firefighters battle the blaze amid the danger of gas tanks exploding at regular intervals.
A single storey warehouse covering one rai of land was completely destroyed and the fire is now spreading to the second and third warehouses.
Foam trucks have been requested to put out this big blaze as just water alone is ineffective in battling it.
