Arrest warrants out for two suspects in murder at Soi LaSalle

 

POLICE are hunting for two members of a gang of 23 bikers who provoked and then killed a man in Soi LaSalle moments after he drove out of a restaurant with his friend at 3 a.m. last Saturday (June 29), Naewna newspaper said this morning (July 3).

Pol. Maj. Gen. Nophasin Pulsawat, deputy chief of Metropolitan Police, had ordered investigators to collect evidence after which Bang Na police station obtained arrest warrants for two suspects with one being Mr. Nathawut, or Lek, and the other Mr. Danan, on the charges of conspiring with more than five persons to jointly commit premeditated murder, possessing and carrying firearms in public without permission, quarrelling in public and drawing weapons while doing so.

Some of the big gang of bikers had provoked Mr. Warachet, or Hert, and Mr. Jesada, the deceased, to drive out of the restaurant before another group ambushed and killed one of them at LaSalle-Bearing intersection.

After collecting evidence and going through surveillance camera clips police were able to work out the gang’s plan of action.

After killing the victim they fled in separate directions but one of them was seen driving from Soi LaSalle to Soi Bearing then Soi Dan Samrong where he parked his motorcycle at a condominium there.

This morning a police team searched five suspected hideouts of this biker gang in North Samrong district of Samut Prakan province after getting search warrants to do so with expected arrests to be announced later.
