FORMER MP and graft-buster Chuwit Kamolvisit took his anti-cannabis campaign to Palang Pracharath Party’s big campaign rally at the Thai-Japanese Stadium this afternoon (May 12) and was pleased with party boss Prawit Wongsuwan’s stance that it should only be free for medical use, Matichon newspaper said.
Chuwit waited to question Prawit in front of Sports Building 2 and the latter came out to talk to him after he had finished giving his speech.
He asked Prawit how he would resolve the cannabis problem if he became the prime minister and the latter replied that he only supported the use of marijuana for medical purposes not free distribution.
Chuwit then urged Prawit to seriously tackle this issue if he becomes the country’s 30th prime minister, and offered his good wishes that he succeeds in taking the helm.
“So choose me,” Prawit replied.
