Rare Lamborghini belonging to macau888 suspects handed over to police

THE LAWYER representing Mr. Chaiwat “Benz Daemon” Kajornboonthavorn, one of four brothers accused of running macau888 online gambling network, handed over a rare Lamborbhini priced at over 100 million baht to police today (Feb. 10), Amarin TV said.

Mr. Pisit Chutiphonphongchai revealed that the supercar, Lamborghini Mad Bull Liberty Walk Aventador V2, was registered in the name of Benz Daemon’s younger brother. It has not changed hands since purchase.

He added that he could not say whether the supercar is linked to the macau888 case but last night he spoke to Benz Daemon who denied all charges and confirmed he will turn himself in on Feb. 16 after returning to Thailand.

An examination of the superluxury vehicle showed that the manufacturer had autographed the console area, mentioning Benz Daemon’s name and that it is the first in Thailand. There are traces of grey stickers peeled off but the orange-black colour is different from what Benz Daemon had shown in a video clip.

Meanwhile former MP Chuwit Kamolvisit said that it was not good enough to just fire Inspector Sua who he alleges is running a bigger online gambling network than macau888 with it being necessary to investigate the 10 businesses he operates to launder money.

This followed  Pol. Maj. Gen. Thongchai Sereewatana, commander of the Public Works Division, having signed the suspension of Pol.Lt.Col.Wasawat (surname withheld) from duty while a committee investigates him for serious disciplinary offences.

However after his suspension was announced late last night Chuwit posted a message online saying an investigation should be immediately launched as to where Inspector Sua got the money to operate 10 companies.

He added that Inspector Sua had long hair even though he was a police officer and drove a luxury car and took his children overseas for holidays.

The 10 businesses he runs to launder gambling money include currency exchange, massage parlour and real estate agency.
