Another 1 million doses of Covid vaccine donated by US arriving here soon

THE PUBLIC Health Ministry’s Disease Control Department is moving to get Cabinet approval for an additional donation by US of approximately one million doses of Covid vaccine with this believed to be Moderna, Sanook.com said today (Nov. 9)

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai said  it is expected that this second lot of vaccines donated by US will be delivered to Thailand soon because the preparation at that end has been completed.

Whether the additional doses of donated vaccine arrive this month or not depends on when the Disease Control Department submits the issue to the Cabinet for approval and once the green light has been given everything should proceed smoothly, he added.

US had earlier donated 1.5 million doses of Pfizer vaccine with this having reached Thailand at the end of July this year.
