Chinese embassy tells Thais to stop criticising its vaccines

 THE Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand posted a Facebook message today (Sept. 3) asking some people and organisations here to stop underestimating and criticising its vaccines for no reason, Amarin TV said.

The Chinese embassy reiterated that the vaccines given by China to Thailand was approved by the World Health Organisation for use in emergencies.

“This year China delivered vaccines to Thailand at the earliest opportunity to support Thailand in its fight against Covid-19. 

“It has tried to overcome difficulties concerning high domestic demand for vaccines and inadequate production.

“Every dose of vaccine is a sign of sincere friendship that the Chinese government and people have for the Thai government and people,” the message said.

The Chinese embassy added that its vaccines have also undergone research and various stages of tests on humans  in accordance with the requirements of the Thai Food and Drug Administration.
