FORMER premier Thaksin Shinawatra’s son, Mr. Panthongtae Shinawatra, said in a Facebook post that a revival of the programme “Prime Minister Thaksin Talks to the People” is in the works with the website Thaksin Official to be launched soon, Thai Post said today (August 9).
Panthongtae, or Oak, mentioned that the former premier placed great importance on giving out the correct informaton and wants to communicate directly with the people.

He also sees the importance of listening to other people and used to personally answer phone calls from people making complaints as he believes that the best form of communication is two-way communication not just one person holding forth.
Although Thaksin no longer holds any position, with the country now in crisis he would like to share his knowledge on new technologies and science to help alleviate the situation.
