Covid in Bangkok today: A district-level breakdown

 

BANGKOK Metropolitan Authority (BMA) issued a district-level breakdown of the city’s 912 confirmed coronavirus cases emerging today (April 25) with there also being another 278 people still being tested for infection, Sanook.com said.

The cases that emerged in each of Bangkok’s districts are as follows:

1.Phasi Charoen: 36; 2. Chatuchak 33;  3. Huai Khwang 29; 4. Din Daeng 29; 5. Bang Khen 29; 6. Bangkok Noi 24; 7. Khlong Sam Wa 22; 8. Bang Khae 22; 9. Lad Phrao 22; 10. Nong Khaem 21; 11. Wattana 20; 12. Bangkapi 19; 13. Klong Toey 18; 14. Bueng Kum 15; 15. Bang Sue 14; 16. Sai Mai 14; 17. Dusit 14; 18. Wang Thonglang 13; 19. Suan Luang 13; 20. Bang Phlat 13; 21. Khan Na Yao 13; 22.Phayathai 12; 23. Bangna 12; 24. Chom Thong 12; 25. Minburi 11; 26. Ladkrabang 10; 27. Phra Khanong 10; 28. Saphan Sung 9; 29. Bang Khun Thian 9; 30. Ratchathewi 9; 31. Klongsan 9; 32. Yannawa 9; 33. Taling Chan 9; 34. Bang Rak 8; 35. Bang Kho Laem 8; 36. Prawet 7; 37. Thawi Wattana 7; 38. Thonburi 6; 39. Nong Chok 6; 40. Sathorn 6; 41. Pathum Wan 6; 42 Thung Khru 5; 43. Bang Bon 5; 44. Bangkok Yai 4; 45. Don Mueang 3; 46. Phra Nakhon 3; 47. Rat Burana 2; 48. Lak Si 2; 49. Samphanthawong 1; and 50. Pom Prap Sattru Phai 1.

Of the 912 cases, 183 fell sick after close contact with previously confirmed patients while 153 were found through proactive search in communities. Altogether 22 people got infected after going to flea markets and visiting tourist attractions. Three fell sick after attending fairs and concerts while two health workers fell sick as did an inmate. There were no details about another 528 people who caught Covid taking today’s Bangkok total to 912.
