GOING viral on Thai social media today (Feb. 18) is a woman’s Facebook post where she said she attended her husband’s wedding to another woman even though she was not invited, Sanook.com said.
A live-streamed clip shows this woman, dressed in black, taking her marriage certificate to show her husband, who is a government official, just as the wrist binding ceremony was taking place with his bride.
She then said, “How can you get married? This marriage certificate is still valid. Very confusing.”
The live streaming is then cut off. But another video clip shows her husband, who is the groom in this wedding, with his bride standing next to him, asking his wife to leave, pointing out that she is not a guest in this house.
The bride’s relatives also told her to leave.
These two clips have been viewed over 400,000 times and have sparked fierce criticism.
On Valentine’s Day this woman again posted the following message on Facebook:
“I want to show off my husband but will be repeating other people.”
Another recent Facebook message says that, “Right now there is no safety, there are ill-intentioned people threatening me to delete the clips.”
