Buyers alerted after food truck couple catch Covid-19

A COUPLE who live in Samut Prakan province but operate a food truck business in Nonthaburi province and Ramintra road of Bangkok have tested positive for Covid-19 and people who bought seafood, fruit and vegetables from them have been told to monitor themselves at home for 14 days, Amarin TV reported this morning (Dec. 22).

Driving a white pickup truck with red plate licence plate number 8681, the couple mostly went to various temples to sell fresh seafood, obtained from the main shrimp market in Samut Sakhon province, and fruit and vegetables from Tuesday to Saturday in the two areas before falling sick.

However the couple said most of their buyers are regular customers who usually made an appointment a day earlier and waited for them to arrive with the goods.

Those who came in contact with this food truck are urged to stop working, wear face masks and observe their symptoms for 14 day.

Should they fall sick they should to go to the nearest hospital and contact the respiratory disease clinic.

Even those not sick may call Nonthaburi Provincial Public Health Office for advice.
