Youtuber shares another video of attack at Angkor Wat

A TRAVEL youtuber who was attacked by a Russian man at Angkor Wat in Siem Reap, Cambodia, with the guards not helping him and his companion forcing him to fight back and after that told by the Khmer police to keep quiet about the incident today (Jan. 12) posted a photo of his face covered with a cloth featuring this temple and the message “They tried to silence me”, Neawna newspaper said.

Below is his message accompanying this image depicted in a new video about the incident posted on The Country Collectors YouTube channel:

“Hey Country Collectors,

“New video just dropped.

“This is a video I never thought I would be making – again.

“After sharing my experience of being attacked at Angkor Wat, that video was restricted and banned in Cambodia by the government, and false narratives began spreading instead of accountability.

“Today’s video is not about drama.

“It’s about what happened, the response afterwards, and why this matters for traveler safety everywhere.

“This is not an attack on Cambodian people – it’s about systems failing and the importance of speaking frankly,” the Youtuber only identified as Adam wrote.

However the initial video was heavily attacked by several Cambodian netizens.
